![]() ![]() I was going to upload on Half Life's 20th anniversary but my videocard was broken and I got a new one in this month, but I didn't forget to celebrate it unlike Valve, and I decided to upload as a christmas present. Most of these models where edited by myself and and obligatorily credit those who worked hard and with the total effort in them. I did a mission to make a better one and occasionally go even further beyond ( Plus Ultra!). Trusty Crowbar and R1chard? Don't even get me started. I know there's some packs made by the other people such as the one made by LongNange, but with a more complex point of view, most models are messy and have poor quality textures, causing inconsistencies and sometimes smoothing problems. ![]() To begin with, this was based on the lost Marphy Black's "Unofficial High Definition 2 Pack" (seen here: ) and so, I decided (and definitely try) to follow the same example as him in his "Two C's and a Q" which stands for Compatibility, Consistency, and Quality. However, not just a simple improved model pack but also bonus enhancements such as menu music, improved quality image, fixed maps and proper Half Life OST for Blue Shift (directly from the Dreamcast version). Hello ladies and gentleman from Moddb! I'm here again to release the "High Definition 2 Pack"! What is it? It's a full replacement models for Half Life, Opposing Force and Blue Shift exclusively for Steam, which consists enhanced models made by some of the good ol' authors in the Half Life community. ![]() ![]() Upon such termination, you shall immediately stop using the SOFTWARE. ![]() ![]() UF-B cable is used for underground service and as a direct burial cable.Type MC cable has a protective armor and can be used without conduit.Make sure to choose the cable with a suitable size of a ground wire. Copper SER is a popular choice for panels and subpanels.USE-2 RHH RHW-2 can be used for underground service entrance applications.THHN/THWN-2 and XHHW-XHHW-2 are used in conduit. The last one is suitable for underground service. Types of Copper Wire For 100-amp Service PanelsĬommon types of copper wire used in 100 Amp service are THHN/THWN-2, USE-2 RHH RHW-2, XHHW, type MC cable, copper SER cable, and UF-B cable. For commercial applications, flame-retardant, plenum or riser-rated, and low-smoke zero halogen cables should be used. Both are perfectly fine to use in these panels. Wires Used in 100 Amp service are different depending on whether it is copper or aluminum wire. In general, a 100 AMP service is very common, and you can find a 100 amps sub panel everywhere. 100 Amp service may also be used to feed different subpanels and circuit breaker panels in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Other basic applications of a 100 amp service panel are detached garages, workshops, agricultural facilities, and temporary power at the construction sites. ![]() 100 Amp service is not good for houses over 3,000 square feet with central air conditioning or electric heat. In these houses, 150 amp and 200 amp services are more common. While 100-amp service is enough for such homes, it is not common for larger houses with the combination of electric and gas appliances and high-power demand. It is quite standard for older homes that have a limited number of appliances. Is 100 amp service enough for your home? The answer depends on the size of your home and your appliances.Ī 100-Amp service panel is typical for mid-size private houses and apartments with several 240-volt appliances and basic air conditioning. You would typically use 8 AWG copper grounding wire or 6 AWG aluminum grounding wire. The ground wire size for 100 Amp service is different. If the run of the wire is significantly long, such as over 100 feet, you should use a larger size out of the sizes described above to accommodate for voltage drop. When choosing 100 amp service wire size, remember that a 100 amp circuit at 240V can proceed up to 24,000W of electricity. These sizes are also used for direct burial. Typical sizes of wires for 100 Amp Service are 4 AWG or 2 AWG for copper wiring and 2 AWG, 1 AWG, or 1/0 AWG for aluminum or copper-clad wiring. Options include THHN, XHHW, UF-B, USE, and SER. One of the most common questions wire and cable buyers ask is: Which wire gauge to use for 100 amp service, and which type of cable to choose? The truth is that you can use many types of copper and aluminum wire in a 100-amp service. ![]() ![]() ![]() We have also created a cool little tool that will calculate the total Number of Games in a Tournament. They're completely weatherproof though, even against snow, but it's still something to keep in mind. Each chair weighs 30 lbs and doesn't fold or stack, so you might end up leaving them out all year. Made from heavy-duty polyethylene, the Loop Lounge is completely waterproof (it can even be used in pools shallower than 11 inches) and incredibly durable, with a weight capacity of 500 lbs.īecause of its heavy-duty nature, though, it's not the easiest chair in the world to store. To make your life easier when fall and winter roll around, opt for lawn chairs that are lightweight and that are foldable or stackable - ideally both - as they'll take up much less room in a garage or storage shed. Lawn chairs live on your lawn when the weather is nice, but depending on where you live, you're probably going to want to store them away during the off-season. Unless you want to store them away after every use, picking a chair with a durable material equipped with some form of weatherproofing will ensure your chair lasts many summers. Regardless of which material suits your style, you'll want it to be able to stand up against the elements - ideally, some level of water resistance and protection against UV damage from the sun. Lawn chairs are available in a wide number of materials, from nylon, canvas or vinyl stretched over frames of aluminum or steel to solid injection-molded hunks of plastic. If you're using clips, fold 3/4 inch (2 cm) of strap around the clip and insert it in the slot (again, you should be able to see from the old webbing how to do this). What to Look for in a Lawn Chair Materials Screw in one end of the strap, pull it around tightly, and screw in the other end. Make a hole with an awl or screw about 1/2 inch (12 mm) from the tip of the point. If you are using clips, add 1 1/2 inches (4 cm).įor chairs with screws, fold down the corners at one end of the strap to form a point (you'll be able to see from the old webbing how this is done). If you are attaching the horizontal straps with screws, add 2 inches (5 cm) to each measurement, and cut the roll into strips of that length with scissors. Remember, the chair back and seat may not be the same width, so take measurements for each. Using the method described in step 2, above, measure the distance from the slots or holes for each of the horizontal straps. If the chair has a drooping seat or many frayed straps, you'll need to remove all the webbing. If only one or two straps are torn and the rest look good, you may want to replace only them. With a screwdriver, remove the screws or metal clips holding the webbing. Loop the other end of the strap around the other side of the frame, pull tightly and attach in the same manner. If you are using plastic rivets, you'll need to drive them in with a rubber mallet or very gently with a hammer. With an awl or the point of a screw, make a hole about 1/4 inch (6 mm) from each end of the strap.Īttach one end of the strap with a sheet-metal screw (see A). This will ensure that you stretch the strap as tightly as possible when installing it. Cut a length of strap 1 inch (2.5 cm) shorter than your measurement. ![]() |
